Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Centres (NSHSC) is pleased to offer rewarding careers in dynamic working environments. NSHSC is a program of the provincial Department of Health and Wellness. Established in 1963, NSHSC works to prevent and reduce the impact of communication disorders for Nova Scotians.

We reguarly recruit for permanent and temporary Speech-Language Pathologist, Audiologist and Technician positions to provide services to a variety of areas in Nova Scotia. Successful Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist applicants will possess a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology and be certified with CASLPA or eligible for certification. Successful Technicians will have completed a Communication Disorders Technician formal training program (or equivalent) and be familiar with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Guidelines for Supportive Personnel.

NSHSC is fully accredited with consistent standards of clinical practice throughout the province. Our services are well established and integrated within communities.
